Did you hike in the Whistler area July 12th or 13th, 2002? If you did, we want to hear where you went and when. If you saw Brian (see right, or here for more details) we desperately need to hear from you, but we also need to learn the places where Brian wasn't. Brian Faughnan was interested in doing a day hike or a hike with a possible overnight in the Whistler area. It is believed that Brain had a mountaineering axe and was headed to an alpine area with snow. He was last seen Friday, July 12, at 10:00 A.M., when he was still asking questions about hiking routes. Brian is about 6'0", 185 pounds with a yellow 50 L pack. He was hiking alone but would have talked to other hikers on the trails. It is VERY IMPORTANT that we learn of Brian's intended destination. Not seeing Brian can help narrow down the search area. He was possibly going to Rainbow Mountain area, but Cheakamus, Wedgemount, and other hikes in the entire region are also possible.
